LAAF Highlights
June: LAAF was accepted into the National Incubator Center (NIC) Islamabad Pakistan, as their 8th cohort, with an acceptance rate of ~2%.
July: LAAF was selected as a Top Ten Finalist for Berkeley SkyDeck and P&G Ventures Innovation Challenge.
LAAF was one of three startups nominated by NIC to attend the Canada Pakistan ICT Business Exhibition forum, on August 4th and 5th attended by prominent entrepreneurs and VCs, including Startup Canada.
August: LAAF liaison office registered in Pakistan. LAAF prototype engineer team assembled, Also LAAF legal/regulatory US/PAK team established. LAAF founders meeting in Islamabad.
Challenges: Time zone challenges while building our team. Lack of physical space at the NIC due to COVID social distancing requirements. We are working remotely for now!
Goals: LAAF Prototype embedded systems and wireless engineers ready to go September 1st.
